Our client is a leading building services consultancy and due to expansion they have a requirement for a principle electrical design engineer to join the team. To be considered for this role candidates MUST have the following:
5 to 6+ years’ proven Mechanical Design Engineering experience gained within a Building Services Consultancy or similar:
a.This experience must be
i.predominantly COMMERCIAL (new build, refurbishment, fit out),
iii.Gained in the UK
iv.Gained working mainly on UK projects
v.**and include major £multi-million projects
Detailed knowledge of Building Services Engineering Systems including their performance, application and operation
Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team
Excellent communication skills at all levelsC
Client / architect facing
Proactive and approachable professional with enthusiasm and initiative
Relevant Mechanical Design Engineering qualifications – ideally a degree+
Member of or working towards membership of CIBSE or IMechE
Chartered status – or working towards chartered status
·Experience of residential and mixed use developments projects
·Project Management experience would be advantageous

We are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our clients team in London. The main responsibilities would be to deliver large complex and niche projects on time and to the highest technical standard.
You will need to be both a team player working within a multidisciplined group assisting other senior engineers along with helping and encouraging the graduate members, and have the initiative to work alone. You will monitor the quality control on projects to ensure the company quality standards are being achieved, prepare calculations /specifications and drawings, ensuring they comply with the clients brief.
The role will give the right candidate opportunities to build and develop existing engineering and design skills together with exposure and use of contemporary design software and 3D modelling packages.
